Virginia Tech Hokie Bird Animation
This piece is an animation of the Virginia Tech mascot, “The Hokie Bird”, performing the university’s anthem, “Enter Sandman” by Metallica. I made this during my last year of college as a tribute to the wonderful four years I spent at this special school. By illustrating different positions of the caricaturized Hokie Bird, I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to color and detail my drawing, and used Photoshop to make frame by frame animations of the different Hokie Birds. The poster associated with this project was also purchased for donation to the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech.
